A Discipleship Training School (DTS) is a 6 month experience designed to deepen your faith. It is a journey to discover more about God and yourself. Impact World Tour (YWAM Alblasserwaard) in ’the green heart’ of the Netherlands  inspires an extreme generation to become disciple makers reaching a lost generation.

Sometimes we need to escape our daily grind to get perspective in our lives.

Explore the Bible, be inspired by speakers living a radical adventure being led by Gods Spirit. Discover God’s will and His dreams for you to have impact in the world. The Bible exhorts us in Matthew 28 to go and preach the good news to all people and to train them to become followers of Christ. Youth With A Mission is an international and interdenominational missions movement, training and releasing young people onto the missions field reaching the least and the lost.

Maybe God is calling you to be part of this missions movement? Thousands have gone before exploring their calling and investing their talents to see people reached with the gospel.

What is DTS about?

 

Lecture phase

In the 12 week lecture phase you will get the chance to discover intimacy with God. Through inspiring international speakers and in-depth Bible study you’ll soon be able to discern His voice and calling. It’s also a journey of self-discovery, fine honing your skills, identifying your strongest talents to be able to effectively communicate the gospel and be a catalyst for transformation.

 

 

Outreach Phase

The outreach phase will take you across continents for a 10 week immersion into another culture. You will be split up into small groups to be ministering in our target nations. Experiencing life as a cross cultural missionary preaching the gospel across language barriers, sharing the love of Christ through practical help, supporting and inspiring local church movements. You’ll be stretched physically and spiritually putting into practice and sharing the teachings of the lecture phase. Worship and prayer become a vital lifeline in the field, as you seek Gods guidance amidst overwhelming need. 

 

Tracks

When you apply you can choose a focus for the DTS. We have four tracks designed to further develop your talents and to help prepare you for outreach. Each week we will spend several hours to learn more about your track focus and reach out to others with your talents. We believe that the gospel should be preached and demonstrated in relevant ways to people that have never heard the gospel. The specific tracks that we offer are the Messenger Track, Football Track, Skate Track and Music Track.

 

Messenger Track

Learn to become a powerful messenger of the gospel. In our messenger track we seek to communicate the gospel through relevant stories to touch the hearts of a lost generation.

 

We will be trained to preach the gospel and share our testimony. Get inspired through the stories of revival history preachers and get trained in speaking and vocalising the message God has put on your heart. Become a messenger that turns the world upside down!

Football Track

Do you have a passion for football (soccer) and do you want to get to know God more and make Him known on the football fields at the end of the earth? Then now it is the time to join us. It doesn’t matter at what level you play. Besides playing a lot of football, you will learn how to use football and faith as a discipleship tool to reach the next generation. Come and get trained in your football skills and learn how you can use football to preach the gospel wherever you go. Will we see you on the field?

Skate Track

We are calling all skaters to share the gospel and disciple people in skateparks across the globe. Our skate ministry 180 Degrees also owns a mobile skatepark which allows us to reach out anywhere. We will go skating, organise a contest, learn how to share on the skatepark, and how to disciple. 

Music Track

We are calling all musicians to impact an extreme generation through the music track. We will take time to worship, learn more about subjects like the meaning of worship, music in the world, leading worship, song writing, and more. 

 

 

YWAM Alblasserwaard is at the centre of the green heart of the Netherlands. Our training location in the lowlands of Holland (3 meters under sea level) is a land of windmills, waterways and tulips. Out of the classroom windows you see Frisian cows producing milk for that all delicious Dutch cheese. It’s a landscape where you can still hear Gods whispers of love, away from the bustles of city life. The Alblasserwaard is an area rooted in revival and moves of God’s Holy Spirit. The first missionaries came to our region in the 1400’s and Gods Spirit has been revisiting this area ever since. Today young people come from all over, to experience Gods presence, to be refreshed, to be equipped and to be challenged to go and make a difference in the world. 

 

 

Impact World Tour has been equipping missionaries and evangelist in the Netherlands since 2000. Our Impact DTS will equip you with the skills to preach the gospel, to touch the live of those around you with the transforming power of Jesus Christ. God is looking for workers in His harvest fields. Young people willing to be sent out, to go to the least and the lost.
